The authors wish to express their gratitude to the captains and crews of the freezer trawlers operating in the Argentine shelf who received us onboard their vessels and collaborated with us as we carried out our work. Two anonymous reviewers provided comments to improve our manuscript and Lic. Diego Monteleone kindly provided relevant information. Albatross Task Force is funded by The Royal Society for the Protection of Birds, a UK partner of BirdLife International.
